It's Been Awhile

I had an audition ever day this week and it WORE ME OUT! Even on my day off, I had an audition that night and all day I couldn't relax because I had the audition looming over me. I hate that feeling. I'm having that today!

Some new developments on the theatre front...

1) A girl from the Trib (Chicago Tribune) came to see the show on Friday and loved it. I was a little taken aback. Hopefully she'll write something nice. :)

2) I got back in touch with Kevin Otos, one of my old professors and he told me I should audition for an acting internship with the Texas Shakespeare Festival this summer. Then added, but you should get your stuff in soon because the deadline is coming up. This was Wednesday. The videotaped audition was due in their offices by Sat. Luckily I was able to get everything in and Kevin called the artistic director to put in a good word for me, so we'll see!

3) Tonight I have a callback for a company, Blank Line Collective, that would make me a company member. It seems interesting, so we'll see. One of the co-artistic directors worked with Matt Tomlanovich and made a point to send me a nice email saying she was looking forward to meeting me. Like everything else, we'll see how that goes too!

On a personal note, Ben is looking for another job and, of course in this climate, having not much luck. Please keep him in your thoughts!
